Dissertation Boot Camp 

Dissertation Boot Camp will be evaluated using three partcipant surveys that will be distributed before, immediately after, and three months after Boot Camp. The information collected in these surveys is anonymous and participation in the surveys in voluntary. Information collected in the surveys will be used for the following purposes:

• To evaluate the Boot Camp format in order to direct the planning of future Boot Cams in the Reading-Writing Center.

• To evaluate the Boot Camp format in order to make recommendations to other programs interested in supporting graduate student writing.

• To follow-up on past Boot Camp experiences at Florida State University.

The data collected in these surveys might also be used by Heather Lang in a Conference on College Composition and Communication presentation (pending acceptance) and a Writing Lab Newsletter article.
